Healthy Campus Week:  Summit & Expo

In 2015, the University of Arizona became one of 38 universities to participate in the Partnership for a Healthier America’s (PHA) Healthier Campus Initiative.  With this participation, the university agrees to meet 23 criteria in the way of healthier food options, physical activity and wellbeing over the course of a three-year period.  In the first, year we met 65% of the criteria with plans to complete the remaining criteria this year.

Each year PHA has a “Healthy Campus Week” allowing partnering universities to highlight wellness programming and initiatives.  This year Healthy Campus Week is September 25-29th and the University of Arizona will make this a campus-wide event free for students, faculty and staff to enjoy!   Here is a list of some of our scheduled events thus far:

Monday, 9/25
